I still can't get to grips with the new blogger format.  The photo's are all muddled up but I'll do my best to describe what I have been up to.  I managed to create a 'girly' canvas, although I doubt I will be doing anymore` as I struggle with faces and colouring.
These are the gorgeous new stamps I received recently from Crafty Individuals.  I used them on the projects from the previous posts and also the canvas above (birdcage).  I have just realised there are two stamps missing from the photo's sorry.  All of the stamps and more, from Crafty Individuals can be seen on their website.

Last night saw me spending a couple of hours in my craft room with a few friends.  I have been struggling with my crafting for a long time now, lacking motivation and struggling for time, but decided to have one last attempt at 'getting back into it'
I had a good old clean and set the table up ready.  We had a great night and created some MDF tags.  I decided on a Christmas theme and used three of my oldest stamps shown below.
 This is the finished result....
I'll close with a photo of Mischa and Storm who are now becoming the best of friends.....
`
awwwwww........

be back soon.

More Festive Sparkle

The background on the plaque above was created by randomly stamping CI-368 Swirly Tree into wet acrylic paint to add texture.  If you click on the photo it is a bit more visible.  I then added CI-169 'Angels', the word 'Believe' from CI-156 and embellished it further with tags and holly leaves.

I decided to make a 'lasagne frame' to house an altered beer mat which had been mounted onto an MDF tile.  The beer mat was painted with acrylics and stamped into with CI-368  to add texture.  I then over stamped in gold using the same stamp as shown below.
The MDF tile was given the same treatment and the texture can be seen above.  I rubbed over the dried paint with wax rubs to highlight the texture.  The gorgeous Angel in the chippy frame was from a glossy sheet of images from Crafty Individuals.  I LOVE the images, they are so versatile and such good value.
I received lots of yummy new stamps from Jean and Malcolm recently but forgot to take photo's of them.  I am in the middle of a canvas using a few more of them so will post  it as soon as it's finished.  Until then, bye for now.

Festive Sparkle

Meet Mischa......... my new little 'friend'.  I've had her almost two weeks now and I have to say I am smitten.  She is the most gorgeous little thing ever, very well behaved too, although I am sure we will have some mischief from her soon.  She is a Cavapoo, ten weeks old tomorrow, and will be able to go out in about three weeks.  Our 8 year ols black lab loves her.  I will keep you updated on her progress.

Over on Crafty Individuals blog, there is a challenge 'Festive Sparkle', here are my DT pieces.  I simply added glitter and a couple CI  images cut into a circles and edged with stickles.

I also created a Christmas 'Joy' plaque from some old beer mats and a grey board backing.  The stamped images were coloured with distress  inks, cut out and mounted onto tag die cuts which were used upside down as shown.
Hanging 'baubles and chipboard letters and more stickles to add  more sparkle, finished the piece off.  I have a couple more pieces almost finished and hopefully will post them tomorrow.
