Something old, something new......

Well am I having trouble with blogging!  I did this post a few days ago now, using the new 'format' as I just don't know how to get back to the new one.  I hate it!  I just couldn't get the layout how I wanted it.  Then I 'lost' my blog and was unable to get back onto the draft  post.  I was so frustrated.  I have spent hours tonight trying to sort it.  I have managed to get back onto the draft post, but still not been able to get the old system back. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!  I have decided to just show these few bits in a post and keep trying to sort it out.  So, the above lady was created following an amazing class taught by ultra talented Polly at Grimsby Crafts.  I can truly say it was one of the most enjoyable classes I have attended.  This is my second attempt at a 'Julie Nutting, Artful Couture' lady.  I loved creating the background for it.

I decided to make a couple of  tags.  The one above was very easy to make, I just created some tiles and used them as embellishments.

I have used the new Crafty Individuals stamp CI-347 on the tags above.  I am totally in love with this stamp and know I will use it time and time again.  I love it!

I hope I can soon get to grips with my blog?????

Project catch up time

It's been a while again, my blog is all over the place and the background has shrunk, I haven't a clue how to correct it so I think I might have to start a new blog? But back to this post in which I want to share these gorgeous new CI stamps. http://www.craftyindividuals.co.uk/
I am in love with them all, but especially the one above, it's simply gorgeous. I just need time to play now!
I have done a few bits though. The 'Friends' wall hanging, based on the 'Angel' one I did a while ago. I'm into pale muted colours at the moment...All images are by Crafty Individuals.
Next, a tag using a recent CI plate of Vintage Perfume Labels. I made the 'bottles' to suit.
A miniature 'LOVE' bunting, simple but effective....
and finally an altered 'HOME' plaque, transformed with paint, texture paste and a few handmade embellishments.
Before I close, here's a recent photo of Heath. I've been spending the majority of time helping with him as he has a few little 'problems' at the minute which will hopefully be sorted in a few weeks with an appointment with a paediatrician. Until then, I will be doing what I do best, 'helping' and 'being there' for the ones who need me, after all nothing comes before family!
yum yum, I just love him so much !!!!
