As I have mentioned before, I love working with CI stuff because of the amount of words, sayings and sentiments you can find. I am hoping to do a couple more bits with the 'Victorian Children' plate CI-277 tomorrow, fingers crossed.
On Sunday, Faye and Ash went off to Meadow Hall shopping for pressies for JJ's first birthday. Can you believe that in just a fortnight he will be ONE?????? We had the pleasure of having him for the day, and during the afternoon took a drive to 'Waltham Windmill' for a bit of play time and an ice cream.
Josh seems so grown up, walking around, investigating all sorts of things including the swinging sign outside the sweet shop.
Here he is with Grumps on his way to find me, I though a game of hide and seek was in order. He was in fits of laughter when I kept jumping out at him from behind the trees, until I had a little mishap. I failed to see a 6" stump of an old tree and fell flat out, and ended up in agony for the rest of the day. Eventually I had to go to A and E as I thought I had broken a rib it was so painful. Examinations and X rays showed no breaks, thank goodness but I am still in agony with it, hence my crafting time. I just hope it gets a bit easier soon, we have a house to do up!!!

LOVE the seaside themed stuff, can't wait to get my hands on it.
Great pics of granddad (grumps) - the protective look on his face is a picture.
This verse (with a slight adjustment) would suit this picture in a layout:
Walk a little slower, Daddy,
Said a little child so small.
I'm following in your footsteps
And I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they are hard to see;
So, walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up,
You're what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who'll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right,
And know that I was true;
So walk a little slower, Daddy,
For I must follow you.

Ooo Sue, I hope you mend quickly! I was enjoying reading about your day with Josh until I came to your mishap! x x Your Seaside mini book is lovely :)
Rest up and take care. x
oh sue... ribs are so painful, hope it doesn't take to long to feel better.
Love what you've done with the stamps... it's a long way removed from when I first did the lettering. Crafty Individs have done a great job, I know Jean spent ages on the background papers. Your little book is wonderful.
Ouch! Now come on Grandma you need to take more care lol!!
Josh looks far too grown up to just be 1!!! He's totally adorable!
The tiny book you have made is scrumptious! Stunning!
