The doors were made of strips of card, stuck side by side onta card, and painted with Ranger crackle paints, which was antiqued further by dry brushing over with white acrylic. I finished them off by adding brads as door handles. The flags are cocktail sticks, topped with a gold bead, and tissue paper or fabric flags which I painted with watered down acrlic paint.
I added 'name plaques' out of corrugated card, and prepared a long base to mount the beach huts onto by just smooshing blue, yellow and white paint randomly, with a baby wipe onto a scrap of grey board. I used a rough gardening string as a hanger and finished by adding the words, 'wish you were here'.
The photo's might improve soon, hopefully, as I am starting a course at Grimsby college on Wednesday. Just hope it's more me than the flower arranging last term lol.........
