I don't own any Nesties yet, so used an old sizzix die in my cuttlebug as the frame. The border punch is by Fiskars, papers by Kay and co.
The flower is a couple of cuttlebug dies embossed and placed on top of each other with a rose in the centre. The 'dangly bits' (now now......) are thinly cut slithers of paper added under the flower.
White background is made with cuttlebug 'victoria' embossing folder. It is not my 'normal style' but I think it's always good to try something out of your comfort zone occasionally. After all, variety is the spice of life, so the saying goes!
Finally, this is a peep at what I've been busy with of late. Both of our girls are getting married this year, one in May and the other in June, just 5 weeks between so I am in Wedding Invite mode. Gina's are almost finished and ready to post out, so I'm getting there. Luckily she wanted someting very simple so they've not taken long at all. Mind you I still have to do evening invites, order of service, place settings and seating plan, so not out of the woods yet............POLLY!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

Oh, this is so pretty. Not my style either, but I admit to having a soft spot for Sarah K! (My daughter was Sarah K before she got married!) I love the soft green & pink colour combination, and the punched border with the pearls.

Not my style either but you do it so well, Sue. Love the soft colours and the pearls. My favourite bits though are the paper slivers - may just pinch that idea. lol
oh yyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeerrrrr your getting the cutesy bug, I had noticed a few of the symptoms over the past few months and did not want to worry you........ however you do it very well and it suits you, so I would NOT recommend a vist to the Doctors.

How did you get on with those copics - I had a go at a friends house and made a mess! I'm not blaming the tools - it was me! Our daughters get married next year (gulp) and I may have the invitations to do twice over. Do you think I should start now?!!
