Nine and a half weeks to go.
No Faye's baby hasn't arrived yet, but with Ash being away it's been the ideal time to get organised. I just love to see a line of washing blowing in the wind, but to see all these teeny weeny items was just lovely.......................... And here's 'the bump' with just over nine weeks to go......................................So come on everyon, let me know, is it a boy or a girl?
Just a quick show of what I taught in class today.
It's not easy to show on the photo really, but we made acetate cards. We made our own heart templates then cut them out on white card. We used direct to paper technique to add colour, then overstamped, added a greeting in black, then embellished.
On this sample we glued ripped text on the heart before adding the colour. The photo below might give a better idea of the how it looks suspended on the acetate card.
Simply addedribbon, button and liquid pearls to embellish......................
Totally agree with Sam - its gonna be a boy!!! Oh and I'd rather have all those teenie weenies on my line than the big white pants that are currently pegged out and billowing in the wind (no thanks to the mil)!! Beautiful cards by the way - love how acetate make the cards look like they're floating xx
No Comment I think I might already know which gender it is!! Due to a conversation about the colours of layouts!!
The cards look fabulous I am just sorry I couldn't make it......Mark returns to work today and it's school holidays next week......so maybe after then I'll see you xx
I love the smell of the washing from the breezy line and soon enough you'll be having lines and lines of it. I just can't believe there are only 9 weeks to go! Where did the time fly to?
No idea what it is but it will bring buckets full of love with it and your heart will swell SO big you'll think it'll burst.
Love those cards, I did those in one of your workshops and had forgotten just how nice they are (now where did I put my acetate................?)
A boy me thinks from the positioning. oh and the card is gorgeous and the little clothes are so sweet, it reminds me of when mine were little but the line was full of white terri nappies (them were the days) oh god showing my age must stop cya soon
Definitely a boy. And I swear I thought that before I looked at the rest of these comments! All at the front means a boy :-)) (and less weight to shift off your hips afterwards ha ha)

I'm in agreement with the others, defo a boy. The cards are lovely, nice techniques and colours.
Hi Sue, Thanks for stopping by my blog! I also thought 'boy' straight away, so can't wait now to see if we're all correct, lol.
